I think the dilemma you're facing is one that many in recovery (including myself) face.
I think it is best when we try not to label foods as "good" or "bad", or "healthy" or "junky". While it is very important to eat healthy, it is also important not to become obsessed with eating healthy. Eating a healthy, well-balanced diet is good for your body. But a well-balanced diet also includes some of the "junk" foods you're mentioning. So while I would not advise you to eat cake for dinner, you can absolutely eat cake! It's all about moderation and eating a good balance different foods.
Do you talk to a counselor at all? If so, I think this would be a great thing to bring up. Like I said, many people struggle with this in recovery. It is tough to find a balance with eating different kinds of foods, but you will get there!
