My ED is kicking me in the ass. I feel like I have no strength to fight back. I want to curl up in a ball and let it have at me.
I'm sick of hearing people say "why don't you just eat" or "why don't you just not make yoruself throw up" or "why don't you getrid of your scale" or "why don't you stop comparing yourself."
Believe me, if I knew WHY, I don't think I'd be sitting in treatment for the second time, feeling like a failure, feeling lost and confused without any goals or hope.
Yes. This is ED talking. But it sounds so much better than my own voice. It's stronger and I'm weak.
I have to walk into treatment in another hour and face the music of my restricting and purging yesterday whileat treatment and then my binging at home in the evening. I promised the therapist I'd talk about it. And I don't, she'll call me out on it. I'm afraid they'll kick me out of the program, and right now, it's the only thing I have.
Thanks for letting me just get this out. Maybe it will make today a little easier.

I am allergic to Sulfa drugs meaning that my throat will swell up so my Neurologist put me on Topamax. I was suffering from major loud whoosing noises and the topamax helped that but everyday I still hear those mainly between 6 - 12 pm. I am at my wits end and have not went...
Not easily, but you can do it all the same. Theres always gonna be times like this before you recover, when you feel like ED has all the control, but it only does if you give it that.
See therapy as your first step to taking that control back!!
Good luck an remember you are stronger than ED an you Can beat it!!
We've all been through it.
