This is more of a rant than anything else, but I really need to vent.
So I got in contact with a staff member from Timberline Knolls, which is a treatment center outside of Chicago. I've had my heart set on going to get help since I first heard about it. I was absolutely heartbroken to find out that the daily fee is $995. My insurance would cover some of it, but I don't have that kind of money.
Honestly, there's no way I'd be able to pay to go to TK by the summer. With bills, choir shit, food, and Christmas coming up, I wouldn't be able to pay for help if I tried. It's not like I can just shit money to give them
I'm just irritated. I'm pretty much on my own now.

I'm sorry things are so difficult for you! Have you checked into any other treatment centers? My guess is there would be some out there that aren't as spendy and that would be covered more by your insurance. Don't give up hope, it can get better. Are you currently in therapy for your ed?

Thanks. I'm not seeing a therapist, but I talk to my guidance counselor every other week and go to my best friend when I'm having trouble keeping control

PLEASE get a therapist. there are other treatment centers and some sponsor patients. look around. i know mercy ministries is free. you can apply online.

treatment is the best thing and i agree with the comment below about mercy ministries, i was there this year. its a great treatment facility. yes sometimes the waiting list can be long but its worth it, the staff are amazing and you meet friends for life! check it out!

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus).
