Yeah I have recently started attending an Over eaters annonymous group and it somewhat helps. My struggle is that I still have struggles admitting that I am ppowerless over this addiction which is the first step to recovery. Unless I admit that i am powerless and need the help of the program and God in this area I will continue to struggle.

I tried doing an outpatient group through the hospital. Did NOT work. Food journals were triggering, the staff kept going "Maybe you're not ready", they didn't like the idea of vegetarian meals, and they were HORRIBLE over the death of my mom to cancer which happened at the same time (it never rains, but it pours!)

Anyways, I quit that, and started a different outpatient group a couple of months later. Worlds different. I've been doing groups there for more than two years now, almost graduated from there...kind of nervous about that.
