had a bad moment this week
while my sister was looking for her certificates form
colage in the attic
my school report cards were dug out.
i didnt even know they were there
i remember going home once with a envolope
that i had held to the sun on the way home as i tryed to read my result
and i felt so happy that day it looked had so many a's
but when it as opend it was all d's
anyway this week the past raised its head again
while everyone took glee in reading my reports
slow at spelling ,makes no effort ,slow worker
must improve writing skills ,,,and so on
...these reports were from 7 years old on ward
i made out i wasnt bothered
but it were as if some one had just read my diary out loud to everyone who knows me
i didnt show it but it did hurt me alot
and also seeing the time scale it was over
and also how
no one helped me
if they kept writing how useless i was why didnt one of them step in
and help

...may as well shut this one down
Once in primary school they even wrote "its as if she is dyslexic" but nothing was done bout it. It wasn't until I did my teaching course that I finally got tested. "Server dyslexia"
I am not even teaching now cause I'm so worried about not having good enough spelling reading and writing skills to be a teacher.
and the reason why this support group is failing is because the stupid emailing system changed so you don't see the new messages unless you log into the page. SUCH FAIL.
Siblings can be very competitive. Success in school is a quick and easy way to put another siblings down. If your family wants to help you now; the best thing is to be respectful and try to learn how dyslexia affects you in your current life.
