Don't feel sorry for me. We had our twins late in life and wouldn't change a thing! When I am 70 my twins will be 27 - the same age as my MIL when my DH was that age - she is healthy - in her 80s and our family is very happy

I was 21 when I had Codee. I was under the impression (obveously before I knew anything about DS) that only "o;der" parents have kids born with DS. I have found it a bit reassuring to see this is not the case, it can happen at any age. When I was first informed of the DS, I was devistated!!!! However, after giving birth to him, I fell in love with him, I did not see one thing wrong with my perfect little baby boy. I feel that God has given me and my family the best gift ever, and I feel very gracious to him for picking me to be Codee's mother!!!!
