My daughter needs more from me than I am giving.
She spends alot of times watching dvd and tv, and except for bathing and our nightime cuddle ritual, some swims at the ywca, I am not spending too much quality time. What are some things I can do to nurture and play with her. I feel terrible like I have given up

hey im katies 17yr old sister, if ur lovely baby watches dvd's or movies watch them with her FINDING NEMO is an excellent choice katie adores that film and i watch it all time with her.she loves the bright colours it amazing. also i play ymca with her arms and row row row ya boat with her. the people who help katie say its great for stimulating with them and its really good for bonding with them aswell. loving attention is also just pick them up n kiss them blow bubbles on there tummys and really great big hugs. i dont think u should feel terrible about anything, because ur still there bbathing her and having ur night time cuddles. i hope this helps u xtakecarex

Well Emma is only 11 months but she too will watch tv I would imagine all day if she could...I think its just one of those things where someone is constantly talking to her and the scence is always changing...its interesting...My advice watch shows with her that you can comment on...educational ones (interesting educational) and keep a dialog going...or My oler kids and I go to the local discovery center and to museums and fish hatcheries...there are lots of things to do ...What are her favorite shows? maybe theres something close by that has to do with it...my son loves dinosaurs he could watch Jurrassic Park all day...so of course we took him to a dinosaur dig...

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus).
