Divorce after Twenty years together Community Group
I want to start something for those of us that were married for a long long time. I think that we face a little different issues than those who were dating for a few years or even married for shorter period of time. Being married for so long we have older children some have grandkids dealing with teenagers and their reaction to the divorice empty nesters dating after 40...
I had to say goodbye to my little Boston Terrier, Champion, today. He's been a part of my family for nearly 13 years. He's been a loyal companion to me through all the heartache and loss over the last three years. I honestly don't know what I would have done without him. He suffered a terrible seizure on Monday. Today he joins my brother and our Sheltie, Woody, in Heaven.
After so much loss, it's terribly painful to lose him, too. He has always been there to listen and just be present. I really don't know how I will manage the pain of loneliness without him. But at least his last days were happy. I am so grateful for that.

I had gone to the grocery store. When I wheeled my cartback to my car I just stool there a minute. A few spacesaway a Tesla Cyber truck was parked. I had seen it on theroad a few times for a few seconds. But not close up.It looked like it belonged to 2126 and not 2026. Sons finally decided after 3 months to replace her. Can never replace my companion but I love the new pup. I have had for 1 1/2 years now but I still have heart pangs for my nadia.
Take strength in knowing that she is over that rainbow bridge waiting to be reunited. A friend sent me that verse and it helps.

I feel your pain, between my own dogs and fosters, I've put down too many dogs to count. It's never easy, and the pain is the same whether you've had them 3 months or 15 years.
