Divorce after Twenty years together Community Group
I want to start something for those of us that were married for a long long time. I think that we face a little different issues than those who were dating for a few years or even married for shorter period of time. Being married for so long we have older children some have grandkids dealing with teenagers and their reaction to the divorice empty nesters dating after 40...
In Chapel today we saw a short video on a 30-day challenge. Basically, you can work on some goal, give something up, etc. for 30 days. I have decided I will work out everyday (in some form or fashion) for 30-days. I think the idea is that it gives you a start on forming a habit. In the beginning of my divorce process I should have made NC a 30-day challenge. That would have helped. Anyway, I thought I would put it out there for anyone who would like to join me. Then we can check back in with each other on October 20th. Is there anyone who would like to join me? You make up your own challenge. (One of my friends is just writing a note to a friend everyday for 30 days.)

I had gone to the grocery store. When I wheeled my cartback to my car I just stool there a minute. A few spacesaway a Tesla Cyber truck was parked. I had seen it on theroad a few times for a few seconds. But not close up.It looked like it belonged to 2126 and not 2026. I wasgoing to take a picture of the car but the owners cameback and drove away. It was an ordinary middle age...
Last week, I joined CURVES on their 10 sessions for $10 introductory offer. So far, I have been going every other day and I like it so much, I think I may join!
I am still getting acupuncture treatments once a week and have my appointments scheduled through the month of November.
My Awareness Through Movement (Feldenkrais Method) started up again today. This session runs through mid-December and is every Wednesday at 1:00.
I have agreed to go back to the local DivorceCare group as an Alumni/Mentor for the new 13-week session. Two meeting under my belt so far and it is so gratifying to be able to help others in need.
The weather has not been conducive to working with Rio at all this week! Rain, rain, go away! BUT when it's not raining (and when my round pen dries out again) I'm going to get back to working with her and riding at LEAST around the farm and through the woods every other day until it gets too cold to be outside!
AND my part time seasonal job may be calling me back as early as October 1st so then I'll be really busy every day. But for me, busy is good!
And yay all of you who are doing the challenge! I don't know if I should mention it but I believe you should continue on even if you miss a day. Missing a day happens! You just go on from there!

I know that it sounds so stupid for a little thing like ebay, but (I don’t know why) I have a hard time ….. I have a hard time doing anything …… Well…………… I’m trying. I don’t think that I care about anything anymore… I don’t know…

I didn’t read all the post here , but I’m going to go back again to read each one again and the new ones….. You people amaze me with your accomplishments and sticking to your goals… Congratulations to all.
