Divorce after Twenty years together Community Group
I want to start something for those of us that were married for a long long time. I think that we face a little different issues than those who were dating for a few years or even married for shorter period of time. Being married for so long we have older children some have grandkids dealing with teenagers and their reaction to the divorice empty nesters dating after 40...
In Chapel today we saw a short video on a 30-day challenge. Basically, you can work on some goal, give something up, etc. for 30 days. I have decided I will work out everyday (in some form or fashion) for 30-days. I think the idea is that it gives you a start on forming a habit. In the beginning of my divorce process I should have made NC a 30-day challenge. That would have helped. Anyway, I thought I would put it out there for anyone who would like to join me. Then we can check back in with each other on October 20th. Is there anyone who would like to join me? You make up your own challenge. (One of my friends is just writing a note to a friend everyday for 30 days.)
I feel kind of funny being the only male here, But ...... Well....................... you all know me for a long time anyway.

First of all a big hi to everyone !!!! My Marriage is coming along and it's taking a lot of effort on my side .... hers too. I'm trying my hardest. I still have old memories that I deal with now and then , but...... I go on .
Anyway...... I want to be in on this ! I just don't know what I should do ..or plan for 30 days... I'm thinking of something. !! I'll let you know what I'm going to do .. OK ?

Here's something that I've been trying to do ever since my x left me. About four years ago,
We had a very successful eBay business and in part of our divorce negotiating I got the eBay business.
I always had a hard time getting back into it. You see ... it was one of the very few things that we (My x ) and I did together that worked, we both participated in and we had fun. Soooooooooooooooooo, it was hard to get going again .(May still be??) But I want to get it going again.... So I plan to everyday take one step to get it going again. Little by little. It made us extra money and..... I think that I'm going to need it again ... IRS thing!!!! YIKES!!!! LOL.
So there ya go............... Starting tomorrow.... one thing for starting eBay business again. ....

BTW- I ...ooops ! WE go dancing at least twice a week for 3 to 4 hours.
Just to let everyone know ................ I did spend time doing what I said. (Getting my ebay site going again.)..
For the first time in four years I sat down and looked up everything abour selling again . Most of it is the same ... I just have to remember now how to work everything.
Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, THANKS !...... I'm on my way..... and I'll try to stay with it. .
I have to really push myself because ...well, I have no desire or motivation ...... to do anything ... let alone Ebay.
I hope that once I get everything going , that I will feel different......

When you get your eBay site up and running, please send us a LINK. I've still got a buttload of stuff around here that I need to offload one way or another. Maybe I could ship it to you and you could sell it for me on commission! I've talked about doing eBay myself for the last zillion years, but really don't have the time or patience for it. Too close to working with the public for my taste.

Congratulations on the many accomplishments that some of you have made and others (Like me who have just started something.
I'm coming along with my ebay... slowly.. ,but "at least" moving forward. . Today I'm going to show my new wife. how to work ebay. She said that she wanted to learn and that she has some ideas as to what to sell. That's good !
Kathi--- thanks for the encouragements and offer, but I sell designer handbags.. All new and authentic with tags. When my x and I sold hand bags we built up a reputation of honesty we have about 1,200 POSITIVE feedbacks. I will continue the honesty... So, Thanks Kathi.... They should have an ebay drop off store somewhere by you... check it out. They will sell it for you too. Maybe if I push my self ..... real hard !!!! I could list one of the hand bags that I have ... I doubt it.. But I'll try .... LOL.......... My ebay sites name is : Avenue200. I don't have anything listed yet but you can still go there.... Ok.......... Have the best day possible everyone....
