Knowing when you're succeeding is a "snap&quo

The most common complaint on these boards is "I'm doing everything right, but the scale doesn't move".

I have a foolproof way of knowing if I'm losing weight from the lower half of my body. It's a jacket I wear when we go food shopping. Has four snaps on it. If I've plumped out, the bottom snap will go POP when I sit down or stand up. If I've lost on the hips/belly, no matter what stress I put on that snap, it doesn't pop!

I find this SNAP to be more reliable than either the scale or a tape measure!

LOL..I have several articles of clothing that I can use to monitor my weight gains or losses. I know that even tho the scales say I gained 5 pounds over the holidays and the month of January,l I still have size 20 jeans that I can take from the dryer and they zip right up with no restraint. I have been wearing a 24 or 26 for 10 years now, so I am diong the exercises prescribed and trying to watch what I eat, but it is the size of my pants that I use because my scale is different than the doctor's office's scale and I am fully dressed at the dr's. Anyway...great idea for Keeping your own form of measurements.

Lol I can tell by the way my pants fit whether its jeans, my work activate or my athletic pants.

    My day...today...misplaced my debit card...didn't realize it until I got to the register after shopping to a full cart.  Used a different debit card and pulled apart everything looking for missing debit card before I left parking lot.  Got home, dropped keys.
