It can be frustrating when we are on a diet to lose or maintain weight and we find that we have instead gained weight. Don't despair, it is likely just a bounce back up, and with a little refinement of our diet, we can make the weight go back down again. We just need to look for ways to trim a few more calories from our daily intake or do a few more minutes of exercise a day to burn off some more calories.
Have you experienced some recent weight gain? What is your plan for getting rid of it? Are you thinking of giving up or are you feeling despair?

Occasionally, I will have a week like I did this week where I worked out like crazy and stuck to my plan and the scale still went up, but since I started lifting heavier weights, I'm not going to fret. I am simply going to give my body time to adjust and check it again next week!
Never give up, never quit!
All I can do is get my sorry rear back up and refocus.
