Yesterday I went out of town to a Goodwill and came home for a bit. Then I headed for the gym and had a good workout. Then I went to Burger King and used the app to get onion rings for my Aunt in the nursing home, didn't have a great visit. Her delusions were on our nerves and she begged for lottery tickets, which are usually a waste. Then I went to Dollar General to use some digital coupons. All of that screwed up my day today. I skipped the gym and slept a lot. This isn't really unusual. I used to have 3 to 4 tired days in a row. I am planning to go to the gym tomorrow and Wednesday. My workout buddy, who can be a flip case, is jealous of my weight loss. She said I'm skin and bones and said she doesn't want to work out with me until I quit dieting. Then she was saying that she doesn't want to lose weight because it makes you look ugly, makes your ears look big and your head small. I am 5'5" and weigh 151. I'm far from skin and bones. My brother assured me that I am not skin and bones. I am only 1 pound from my goal weight. My brother has been my biggest supporter on this journey. My best friend has told me that she is jealous of me so I don't talk to her about my weight. She struggles with food and alcohol addiction.. I am just feeling down today. Here comes my cat to snuggle with me! Yay!

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...
Maybe go to the gym sometimes without her?
I do work outs at home. You can try that as well. Every little bit helps. Even doing housework burns calories. I take walks outside and I feel better mentally too, when I do my walks.
Yes, keep striving for a healthier you! @Preciousbabygirl said it perfectly above.
We are rooting for you!
Ditch the workout buddy. You can't get motivated with a jealous person and her ugliness. You have the right to confront her or leave her in the dust.
