My preferred source of soluble fibre is psyllim husk take 2 tbsp after a heavy carb meal find it really helps.
In addition, soluble fiber also helps us to lower our cholesterol by increasing the passage of bile acids through the digestive tract. Then, our bodies remove some cholesterol from our blood to form more bile acids.
Insoluble fiber is chewy and doesnt dissolve in water. It seems to speed the passage of foods through our stomachs and intestines and adds bulk to the stool.

Benefits of Chia Seeds
Chia seeds are popular for weight loss. They reduce food cravings by preventing some of the food that you eat from getting absorbed into your system. This blockage of calorie absorption makes them a great help in both weight loss and maintenance. They help you feel fuller longer. This is because they absorb 10 times their weight in water, forming a bulky gel. They are also excellent for athletes because they work to hydrate, rather than dehydrate, the body. Theres evidence to suggest they can reduce blood pressure. They are the richest plant source of Omega-3 the vital fats that protect against cancer. In fact, they contain more Omega-3 than salmon! Chia seeds reduce Inflammation and help those with arthritis and heart disease. They slow down conversion of carbs into simple sugars. Studies show that chia seeds can help control blood sugar. This leads scientists to believe chia seeds may have great benefits for diabetics. Chia seeds are digested much easier than flax seeds. Unlike flax seeds, chia seeds dont need to be ground up."
