I don't want to hear one more man cheating on his wife blaming sex addiction. Come on. Where is the responsibility? This is becoming a get out of jail free card. Everybody has a mental illness, huh? No one can control their actions?

Didn't go read site but the only one who needs to help Jesse is Jesse. I'm also tired of hearing "I have a sex addiction" excuse. No you have a cheating addiction.

Well she does't have to help him. And it is not unusual for "addicts" to have multiple addictions. In fact, having sex releases the very same brain chemicals as a hit of cocaine.. is there really such a thing... as sex addiction there is debate and there will always be. Many believe there is not such thing as addiction, it is a choice.
The sad truth is, they are all methods of avoiding the real issue.
They are a symptom not the problem.

Ms. Bullock needs to take care of herself right now. You can't make an immediate comeback from betrayal and humiliation. She needs to grieve and begin the healing process. Her husband's needs are secondary.

Jesse James needs to take responsibility for his actions and his recovery. I believe that sex addiction is a valid addiction. I can not determine if he's an addict or not. Only God, Jesse and trained therapists can make that determination.

Sex addiction..crap! he chose to go find him some trashy bimbos on the side. Then he wants to cry this sex addiction bull and think it's ok. How come noone checks into rehab until they get caught??

I am just kind of sick of "addiction" being the problem for everything and a short stay in a resort being the answer to that problem. I find it insulting, and I think that it sends the wrong message.

As for this sitaution, she doesn't "Have" to help him. Soon there will some damn opinion poll...should she help him, should she leave him, should she, should she , should she. But that again is sending the mesaages that by staying with him, she is "helping." A bunch of crap if you ask me.

I agree with everyone - why the hell does she have to help his sorry cheating ass - read the article in people magazine friday about it. Funny that he cheated on his first wife with a porn star, then married her and cheated on her. JMO Sandra Bullock is too good of an actress, too pretty and too good for him. I have never liked Jesse James, couldn't stand his show West Coast Choppers - seems to think he is above all, and once again proves it by cheating again with another stripper. He's checked into some posh resort rehab costing god only knows to try and save his sorry ass and marriage. Seems like he and Tiger Woods should get together. Vikki's right - no one checks into a "sex rehab" until they are caught.

Just to be in the Know... Sierra Tucson is a self-pay (no insurance) rehab facility. Programs are customized - Yes it is VERY ritzy and costs a minimum of $1200 per day!!!!

This may be an excellent program, and I'm sure you meant well when you posted it, but this is not the place to post your own treatment approach, especially if you are not a trained addiction professional. As I said, I'm sure you mean well, and I remember you from your posts and responses in the past. You seemed to be pretty much on target with what you said back then. But I'm sorry, this really is not the place for self-promotion. I don't mean to criticize, but what you're doing violates the DS "Rules Of The Road", and that makes it inappropriate for this panel.
