Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
Sometimes it’s hard, I’ve been in your shoes. You just have to ignore what others are saying. If they have issues they should be able to bring you resolutions. You might also ask your boss to refer work issues back to you directly so that you have the opportunity to follow up with staff. This will also eliminate some of the gossip and bickering.
I hope you find serenity and peace,
1. Your boss is not your friend She has a job to do, so do you. If you need to unload, do it with friend, family member or here. Some years ago, a partner asked me is everything all right, we noticed your work seemed to be slipping and wanted to see if anything was bothering you.
Then I took things literally thinking how nice they were concerned. Today I realize the message was really, we don't really give a f... about what's going on in your life but straighten it out so it doesn't affect your work.
2. As to the employees, look for the approach to help them perform to their abilities and where needed document what they are doing wrong.
