Ok, first this is just one of the things wife does to piss me off and not take responsibility for herself or her sactions:
Ok, little back story. We got a dog about 10 years ago (pre marriage) and we got it TOGETHER. Then 1-2 years later she wanted another one and we got another one.
The dogs are not "bad" they have occassionally gone to bathroom in house, they do bark TOO MUCH, and they sometimes eat stuff if it is left out (kids toys, shoes, etc) as long as we pick up the dogs are ok. They follow the kids around when the kids are eating because the kids give hte dogs food.
Last couple weeks 1 of the 2 dogs (the one we got 10 years ago) started climbing on kitchen table to eat kids food (when they leave it on the table and are not eating anymore). Obviously this is BAD and we need to do something about it.
Ok, now part that is pissing me off, wife hates the dogs now and wants to get rid of them, I cant do that because I love them, and it is the first commitment we made together and just because it gets difficult I do not want to get rid of them. The kids are growing up with them (now 2 and 4) and they like the dogs and step daughter (21 now) likes them.
She constantly bitches about the dogs, when they bark (but she doesnt do anything to try to stop/train them to stop barking just bitches about them).
She complains when they eat stuff (yes that is bad) but she doesnt pick her stuff up and that is why/when they eat stuff.
She doesnt watch the kids/or their food that is why they eat off the table.
We (including me) do not do enough with the dogs to keep them occupied.
She wants to get rid of them and the only way I have tried to consider it is if they go to someone we know so I can see them and they stay together. Any other way (and even like this) getting rid of them makes me feel like/start to cry (and that is just thinking about it) and sick to my stomach.
all she does is bitch about them even when they are not doing anything.
I have talked to her and told her how important they are and she doesnt care
What/how can I deal with this??

The kids(2 and 4) though are harder to control, they take snacks around, leave them everywhere, and the dogs pick them up.
