Have you ever had someone just not take the hint that you should not continue hanging out?  I quit our monthly hiking group because she was being extremely negative and jealous.  I still see her at some events, but I'm not going to continue to hang out with her one on one. She still extends invitations and I say no.  Everyone else is upset with her and tired of it too.  When she calls she rages and is very negative, cuts you off and won't let you speak.  Lastnight I was heading out to support group.  The phone rang and it was her.  I let it go to voicemail.  I blocked her and then thought that was excessive so I unblocked her.  I had a really big job interview this morning on Zoom, and just as I was going to get ready and get into the interview she called again this morning.  I'm not sure if she buttdialed me or what, but it rang for two minutes straight.  I had to shut the phone off to get it to stop.  TBH it low key scared me.  I don't know if that is from my previous trauma or whatever I might have experienced, but I was really surprised that she called again. I think she is trying to force me to talk to her-to call and call and call until I pick up.  I was so shocked when I saw her name again this AM.  Usually when she calls she tries to bait you into an argument. I could not afford that right before a major interview. I blocked her again and am going to leave it there. Just seeing her name is too triggering for me.  I also have Ptsd, so I am easily triggered and am working on that with my therapist.  Most people if a friendship is winding down they will also wind down, but that is not happening, she is just bearing down harder.
