sick and tired of trying to ask women out on a nice date and have them agree at first and then just blow me off when the time comes. no phone call, they wont answer the phone, no explanation in case there was a emergency or nothing. i have now realized that women DO and ALWAYS will think i am one ugly piece of shit loser. makes me sick to see all these other scumbag men get what they want and i always get pissed on. see these are the reason why i will NEVER stop drinking and drugging and to boot, i will always consider suicide because what is the sense of sitting around alone all the time when NOBODY wants me.

Just thought I would join this group now that I am a widower. My wife passed away May 28th. She was "The Wind Beneath My Wings". When I met her, I was a drunken, dope smoking, fighting, hell raising biker. She told me if I could get rid of the inner storm within me, that I could be a blessing to people. God placed her in my path to stop me. I have been drug and alcohol free now for 53...

My husband and I got our foster license last month, after 3 years of hard work (we had to start over multiple times due to family dramas and Mom's open heart surgery). We spent a year preparing the whole house, guest rooms, and children's bathroom for older kids of 7 yr old and up. Then we got a call that we have been approved to receive twin newborn premies. What, what?!! Babies!? Premies?!...

Do the women you ask out know that you drink and drug? If so, that may be a huge reason they change their mind, I know I would. Actually, I would just say no to someone up front if I knew about their drinking and drugging,
That said, what they are doing by not answering the phone, blowing you off, etc is bullshit and they have no manners. Fuck them. Some women are asses.
As far as considering suicide, drinking and drugging are stupid things to do just because you feel no one wants you. I've been kicked to the curb in 3 out of 4 relationships. I've not been with anyone (for the most part) in 3 years. That doesn't mean it won't happen and none of them are worth offing yourself over. No woman or man is worth all that....NONE. The fact that I don't have anyone or feel like no one wants me (been there too) sucks, but it's not worth putting poison in your body or wanting to die. YOU are worth something, why do you need conformation from some broad to be worthy? Fuck that dude, you are worthy with or without anyone.
Personally, I would prefer being an old woman with no one as opposed to settling or poisoning myself with crap or offing myself.
Hang in there....you are worth more than you think xx

Most drinkers are guilty of drunk dialing from one time to another. Even the best of friends hate that. Could this be the case?
Stopping these things for a few days, does not make you straight either. It takes time for you body to rebound from these drugs. If you are really serious about a relationship, get your act together. Fix you first. This may sound a bit harsh but, I have been where you are. You have to take pride in yourself. You have to learn to love yourself for who you are. When you get "clean and free", your attitude will change and these thoughts of suicide will probably decrease as well.
Life, my friend is to be enjoyed, not just endured. You can not truly enjoy life while under the influence of drugs and alcohol. I have been "clean and free" now for 39 years and life truly does have meaning and purpose when you approach it with the right approach and clear mind.
Go to work on the "new you" and watch what happens in the future.
I hate to say, but this topic has pushed a button with me! Why? For
22 years I was married to a Chronic Liar ! This was a " MAN ! "
Even several years after I divorced, I met other men, that promised
this or that, and delivered nothing ! Now, it's not all about women !

well great. do they ever stop to consider the fact that it`s hard to maintain any semblance of confidence or self-worth when at the same time sending out signals that seem to imply that you simply don`t matter?
i`m with you Simple, it`s extremely tiresome and draining.
