I always thought I could never live in Texas or Florida because of the heat. I just posted about heat on another thread and was thinking about the trip to Jordan I referenced in that post. I kept thinking that it was around 80 degrees Celsius that day, but when I did the conversion to Fahrenheit, that means it was almost 140. I thought I must be exaggerating, but then Googled the Azraq oasis, where we were, and found that summer temperatures there do reach 141. I'll take my 80 degree WV day anytime!

Debah -- when I lived in New Jersey and visited Florida I thought I could never live here either -- now I've been here almost 19 years! Mostly I just stay inside where there is air conditioning!!

Anyway...I'm here on DS now because I'm not too busy, but I will be later. I've been trying to catch up on a lot before my trip next week, and even then I think some things will have to wait until I get back because I've been too stressed out to think and plan. Most times I can't get on here till late night when it seems to be pretty quiet here...
