Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
I know the feeling of shaking and crying from when I was in a car accident. No one was hurt, but my car was totaled. After I came out of shock, crying and shaking, I was very thankful that we were all ok.
Many hugs to you, my friend. Now, the rain will stop and you will catch the break that you deserve.

It's Fresh. Try to imagine this time 2012. Know that a day is coming FAR away from the newness of this event. And people are right, it isn't as "bad" as it Could have been ....... my God .................. Try to step back sometimes, and don't obesess and stay in it all day. Relax. Breathe. Know it's gonna be ok.
You got insurance out there, right? Main thing now is to take care of You. You've got SO much going on right now. This is just a pile of shit heaped on top of it.
Keep this in mind too - it was an ACCIDENT ................. that is why they Call it that. NOT your Fault. Nobody sets out to slam into the back of a family! Another thing to stop you beating up on yourself - when the time change happens in the Spring we lose and hour. Do you know accidents increase by 17% after daylight savings change robs us of an hour? Put sleep deprivation along side of your recent life changes and stress, AND a different truck .......... well ........ you really ARE lucky to be here telling us about this story, instead of, well ...... I don't wanna think about it.
Please be as good to you as we are! Hugs!!!!!!!

Secondly, even though this situation sucks, I'm insanely proud of you. You're facing things head-on, without resorting to alcohol, which is tough to do for an alcoholic! It's always hard to look past today, but you're a tough cookie and you'll get through it :)

"The world eventually sends out a mean-ass Patrol Boy to slow your progress and show you who's boss. You reading this have undoubtedly met yours(or will); I met mine, and I'm sure he'll be back. He's got my address. He's a mean guy, a Bad Lieutenant, the sworn enemy of goofery, fuckery, pride, ambition, loud music, and all things nineteen.... You can still rock and roll all night, but when the music dies out and the beer wears off, you're able to think. And dream big dreams. The mean Patrol Boy cuts you down to size eventually, and if you start out small, why, there's almost nothing left but the cuffs of your pants when he's done with you. 'Got another one!' he shouts, and strides off with his citation book in his hand."
What I like about this is that it reminds me that none of us are so perfect that we never fall.
