going for quiet walks especially when its raining. Listening to gentle music, taking a shower in the dark or a relaxing evening with friends just hanging out where we don't have to go anywhere or really do anything except talk. Also reading and painting.

Getting enough sleep and strenuous exercise. That last bit is getting harder now that I'm over 50. I used to be able to run for miles and miles and miles. The exercise helped far more than meds, though meds have kept me alive. Also, hanging out with positive friends and family members is important.

5 mile or more bicycle rides.

I am going to say food, that's the only thing I love. I don't eat all day like I used to, so that's a huge step for me!

Exercise, if you can get yourself to do it. I haven't in 6 weeks, and I know I need to, and yet the depression won't let me. All depressives know what this feels like. If you can break through that and just get in a walk, and walk as far as you can, that usually helps. Just take it moment by moment as much as you can. I'm struggling crazy right now to do even just that. But break it down to the smallest amounts of time, get through them, and then feel good that you got through them. Build on that.

Definitely exercise! Or binge watching a favorite tv show. A good meal. A phone chat with a friend. A snuggle with my cat.

I wish exercise made me feel better. Gah. That would be nice.

I have become deeply and profoundly addicted to this game over the past 7 months or so, and that is my go to for a good time right now. Thank goodness my husband plays as well so I have someone to play with at home almost every evening, and I am also gaining a circle of true friends because of it because we get together weekly to play.

I also knit for pleasure. Knitting is amazing because it quiets my mind pretty well, much like meditation, and I get the pleasure of creating something in the end.

A change in perspective, reach for a goal or a dream something you have always wanted to do, don't worry about failure just go for it and hope for the best. Go on an adventure literally! Be spontaneous. Go try something new. Figure out what is making you unhappy and then do the direct opposite.

Hanging out with my pets and listening to music makes me feel better.

That is a very good question. For me, the 3 things that make me feel better the most are the following: Listening to music, Laughing with friends, Talking to the Lord.
