Is there a dental college near you? they do the work at a super reasonable cost. or maybe there is a clinic that will do low cost dental work. just a thought. hope you get to feeling better. I have had so much trouble with my teeth, I feel your pain! Good Luck!

I'm not sure if there's a dental college or free/low cost clinic for dental around here. I know there is a healthcare one though. I wish the emergency room did dental for severe cases. I called and they told me they don't. I'm not calling a 24 hour on call dentist just to pay an arm and a leg for them to do work on me because it's late at night. The pain has stopped. I went and got Ibuprofen and took that and I've been sucking on cloves all night long. I bit them in half and let them stay near that tooth.

I just had this issue the other night and I ended up having to go to the ER because I couldn't stand the pain any longer.

Motrin works best. I tried the other stuff, salt water rinse, etc, etc and it only relieved it for a bit.

If you have any kind of medical Ins, try going to the ER. The Dr there gave me 2 weeks worth of antibiotics, a months worth of 800mg Motrin and 3 weeks worth of pain meds (Lortab). Thankfully it has helped alot.

Yes, pure clove oil.

Put a plain aspirin (not a coated one) on the bad tooth and let it dissolve. That might help the pain.

Also, call churches and explain your problem. They may help pay for dental expenses. I wish you well.

Get it pulled or straight jack.
