Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
For a long time I was a member of the local punk and indy scene, playing gigs, meeting others of like mind and interest. A lot of them have become my friends, and of course, been added on FB.
With the student protests and riots, I am noticing an alarming amount of people who used to want change now towing the party line and it disturbs me.
It is almost as if now that they have reached the 30-ish mark, they now accept everything given, no matter how much is stinks of bullshit. They wont rebel, they complain of stupid students. Missing that the politicians that brought in this bill had their educations given to them totally free, before the introduction of basic tuition fees in 1997.
They wont protest or raise complaint because 'they have work' or they believe protest to be wrong in some way.
They voted for parties they use to mock in this years elections.
No wonder nothing actually changes.

but they show that they're likely or possible right? But that's not proof. Neither of you are really showing any articulate proof I'm afraid. The best way to do that is look at what's already out there.
My personal belief is that those young Saudi's were manipulated and trained as pawns in a much larger chess game and their 'grand atollya's' or whatever their leaders are called were on the payroll of certain powerful people who wanted a certain someones oil. By and large those who work in government probably think they're acting genuinely and everything is legitamate, it just.. often isn't.
I mean.. look at what happened afterwards. Are we meant to think all those wars in the middle east wouldn't have happeneded or weren't planned prior to 9/11?
Sancitons on Iraq had reportededly caused the deaths of roughly 500 million children in Iraq, which the western press and people had little idea or perhps care for. Starving a child to death is just as brutal as killing them with a weapon, but when those who record the events are in bed with government how can we ever have a sane world? Why shouldn't we expect things like 9/11? It's all part of this system. This is how it works and has worked for thousands of years.
Change the system, change the results. Do nothing. Nothing happens.
We're easy things to manipulate once you understand how we tick.

There is a divide here, caused by age.
I sit on the balancing line between youthful drive and adult acceptance and I can see both sets of arguments. Rebellion based on conspiracy or speculation cannot win because it is fighting injustice with false facts. The more we expound conspiracy theory, the easier it is to be ignored.
The core of rebellion I am talking about is a thing dictated by age. People start viewing things in different ways and that is understandable. It is how this is vocalised to us.
"You're growing up"
"you're just seeing things through adult eyes'
Almost as if the wrongs we see are only wrong because we are young, not because the actions or reactions themselves are wrong.
Make villains of the populace, make them argue, take them away from consensus reached independantly. That is and has always been the only conspiracy worth fighting against.
By forcing you to focus on a few BIG THINGS people miss the day to day bullshit. By concentrating on 9/11 and things in the middle east, we ignore the shit going on in our own Nations.
People have bought into the current economic lie, not understanding what has brought this to our lives.
Rather than arguing about proof, which none of you has except by the graces of a 3rd party to share, start trying to focus these arguments into something positive.
all this talk is wasted energy, go shovel your elderly neighbors driveway, volunteer on a suicide hotline, donate extra clothing or (if anyone actually has this) extra cash to needy people. pick up trash that isnt your responsibility, stop to help a stranded motorist, share you package lunch with the homeless person on the next bench. THESE things change the world and all your "social justice" rhetoric serves to impede just as well as any "certain someones" agenda. and GOD FORBID anyone should decide to take responsibility for their own lives, because there has always been and will always be someone else to blame. good day to you sir!
In the complexed world of intelligence leaks, counter leaks, false leaks and misinformation it is often difficult for the casual observer to separate the wheat from the chaff. Leaks are used by the Establishment to out rogue agents, settle political scores or create timely diversions needed by intelligence services to maintain an air of chaos on the front pages of the major daily rags.
Do more research before you profess Wikileaks as "The truth".
Also, beware that when you say something like 'Now I know I won', a lot of what you say thereafter becomes lessened due to the tone that little comment then sets.
Disrespect of others tarnishes our own validity. I hope you learn that because some of what you have said so far has been thought provoking.
And now, I have.
Show me results, show me change in action. Show me where you've gotten through to a bureaucrat. Show me how you've improved someone's situation that REALLY needed inmproving. I think, I believe, that's what's being said.
