I'm depressed, it's gotten worse lately. I can't handle food, lost around 7 pounds in 2-3 weeks, I sleep way too much or not at all, I lose focus, I'm exhausted lall the time, lack motivation and I get anxious/scared of leaving the house or even my bedroom.
I do feel suicidal sometimes, I self injure since 2012. But although I do strongly desire to die I'm still unsure about suicide because of all the drama involved around it. (However I might me kinlling myself slowly with my ED)
When I'm alone I tend to lock myself in my room, with all the lights off and curtaing down so not a single thing can be seen in the darkness, or just shadows. I listen to some music with my earphones so I can't hear what's going on outside my room. I lose all sense of reality. I'm disconnected from the world. I feel absolutely nothing. As if nothing existed and I find it so peaceful, almost unreal. Am I the only one who does and feels this? Can someone else explain the feeling better?
I just wish I could die without commiting suicide.
Ps. I do see a psychologist and I'm going to see a psychiatrist for the first time on Wednesday.

I got an email from Kohl's that I had a 40% off coupon for today and tomorrow only. It took me about an hour but I placed an order and got some great deals. I have been wanting a new dress. I like dressing up sometimes. My birthday is coming up and I have dinner plans at a nice restaurant. But, honestly, I'm a little out of control again. I went through this in the fall. I bought...

Has anyone else noticed that clearly speaking and doing things intentionally is liberating because it helps combat the feeling of depression and a sense of hopelessness? Let me share a little more: in my experience, when those who have tried to project a hidden agenda that is obviously not aligned with integrity and well-being, it's best to be firm and speak clearly from self-awareness and...

My concern is you are only 19....you have so much to live for. Do you know what it is that is pushing you down? Is it because you don't have opportunities to go to school? Is it because you don't feel like you measure up to your friends lives?
Do you even know what it is? Once you know what it is...it can be addressed. Yes, some people are just prone to depression...but most times...Life events start the cycle....glad your going to a psychiatrist for medication.
