Maybe he's a teen....Maybe not even a man....maybe a girl....maybe a lesbian. You never know who is who on-line or on chat.....like the respected and beloved member that trolled me, pressured me to talk, berated me with PM's and hugs until I eventually caved in, feeling guilty for ignoring them......Just to find out that they were only here under a troll acct out of spite, to try and prove what a lousy person I was for chatting with someone that wasn't approved by them.

Yep- you never know who's behind that computer screen, or the intent. Even out of pity, or to try to cheer someone up, or to give some support....after being trolled, I will never trust anyone here, or their intentions.

I guess as long as I was judged fairly- convicted for whatever.....than justice was served. Shame on me for trusting and trying to help someone.

Anthony, don't let that get to you. Maybe one person in this community judged you, but there are many of us here that don't choose who we talk to based on who someone tells us too. It's no one's right to tell you who you can and can't talk to, if anyone thinks it is then they most likely have control issues.

Thanks for the info. I looked into this, and was not able to find violations of the TOS. But then I don't have many tools that would let me check this out.

The big lesson from this is that people need to be on their guard! Listen to your gut feelings when something does not feel right.

One huge hint: you do NOT need to give anybody a valid reason for avoiding them on the internet. You do NOT owe everybody a "fair chance" to get to know you! If you feel creeped out, BAIL!
