Hi,
I have been secretly in deep love with a girl for 6 years.
She was married then and I continued to be her best of friends all these 6 years, without letting her know about my feelings, due to moral obligation.
We have been the best of friends for all these years, sharing all the thicks and thins.
Recently she is divorcing her husband due to certain issues.
I did not feel happy, instead my heart sunk together with hers, as I am really not willing to see her going through difficult moments in her life.
As time goes, she is getting better and seems to settle down.
I have the wildest plan in my mind where once she completed the divorce process with her husband, I will start my courtship on her.
But guess what, she has already been quite close with another common colleague of ours and I can see that it's just a matter of time before both of them get into a relationship.
My heart shatters, I am devastated.......
It reached a point where I couldn't hold myself and I sent her a mail, confessing my feelings all this while.
She was shocked and thanked me for sharing my feelings and told me not to feel sorry for telling her...
She said she didn't know what to say...
I am basically really in a depressed state of mind now...
I lose my appetite and only took a piece of bread for lunch these couple of days and have shed 2 kg of body weight...
But having said that, deep inside, I still want her to live happily and I understood that this is a no-right-or-wrong choice, it's just a choice she feels is the best for her.
I told her that after I sent the email, I have 'finished off' my feeling which I kept for so long (and it did make me feel better after I confessed), and hope that the both of us continue to be the best of friends..
But I am really lost now, I do not know what's the future for me...
She is moving to UK soon with her new interest, my fantasy is finally ending.....
Everyday I have been thinking about those thick and thin moments which the both of us went through together...

I miss her so much now, i miss all the days when we do things and talk together, i dont sleep well everyday
I am such a jerk to not treat her right and appreciate her.

Although we are still friends now, but deep inside i cant suppress my sorrow when i see her...
