In more ways than one.
The only good thing going in my life was school because it is the one thing that was going right for me, but not so much lately. I have been struggling in my toughest class. I'm behind on one assignment, about to get behind on a second assignment, and have to start a final project and I don't know what I am doing on any of these things. I also had a rough week in another class.
It's really killing my confidence and I am convinced I am going to fail this tough class with my final project. I just want to give up and sleep the day away, but I know I will fail if I do that. So I am just trying to hang on and do the best I can, but I get worse and worse as each day goes by.
I'm also trying to hang on because I've been having suicidal idealizations again as of late. I am having a tough time handling all the stress in my life, but I can't be hospitalized at this point in the semester. *sigh*

Many of you know Mr K told me to "shut your mouth" in March 2025 when we took a road trip to Alpena Michigan. Since that time, we have had lots of ups and downs but I have never intentionally hurt Mr K in anyway. And when we first started dating in 2024 he let me know, although he is an engineer by degree, he has an extremely low EQ. Overall, he is ok (not off the charts nice like other guys in...

I'm not sure what your situation is, but if you can, I don't think there is anything wrong with taking some time off school or maybe taking a lighter course load. Like yourself, I was starting to become consumed with thoughts of suicide... so I decided I'm just going to finish this semester of school and take next year off to focus on getting better.
That being said, I'm only 20 and still live with my parents who financially support me so taking all that time off is an option for me... Like I said; not sure about your situation, but if you could, I think it would be a good to take a break and focus on yourself.
I have been struggling in my toughest class.
I'm behind on one assignment,
about to get behind on a second assignment,
and have to start a final project
Write each on a sheet of paper and plan what you need to do to get back in the game.
Pepper, right now I am planning on taking two classes next semester, but I am leaving all options open. Though I do think taking at least one will probably be better for my mental state than taking a semester off. Right now I just can't wait for winter break to recharge!
Now the next two won't seem so daunting
