Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
This coming Thursday is my daughter's viewing; the next day her burial. I hate my life without her. It's been a month and a day. Sometimes I still believe I can bargain somehow, like maybe somehowdear god it cant b real. When the sobs turn back to the burning trails down my reddening cheecks I breathe a minute and kinda straighten up and say "come on now Mama, " like she'd say to me and lose my breath a million times between me and remembering I still have to put her in the ground. Before I do that I must see her face. She will be sleeping. Being honest with myself and all listening I never loved another soul like I loved her, and although I was a better mother than my own I was a terrible parent. We give what we have been given UNLESS we LEARN TO DO BETTER. I saw a sign "I don't want to sleep like a baby, I want to sleep like my husband". I agree. I can hear him snoring from here and we're at opposite ends of the house. I am glad to check in here even though no one has trouble sleeping tonight but me.

I invited Bill to have dinner with me last Sunday. He wasn't willing to drive 7 hours to mid Michigan and teased me with his beautiful ribs!!! So, of course I ate alone and had cedar salmon

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....
