We basically just keep having to tighten our belts in various and creative ways.
I haven't been able to work for about 6 years, due to this malaise, but I'm getting together an online business, so that's been a good re-introduction to the real world for me.
An' we gotchyer Canadian accents right here, ehh!!!

I can just see you giving the wrong directions to truck drivers on a ....searching....what do you call those things you talk to truck drivers with.....on one of those.
Lol, I can see you laughing A LOT with the truck drivers. By the way, every time I have to pay a mover (for my daughter, who has moved twice) they charge by the hour and ALWAYS get lost. Even with GPS and printed directions. I think it's a conspiracy to add up their hours.
I sell pots and pans and lovely gadgets and my "uniform" is an apron. Tomorrow is my first official day. :)
No, silly.
I have to wear "Professional cloths" under my apron. Here is the description of what I was told..(sort of think step ford wives or wisteria lane as the updated version)
I am to dress like the town that I will be working in. That's what they told us, which made me laugh inside. And then they said, a la Coco Channel, when you are walking out the door, take one accessory off, as less is more.
And then my apron.
Translations: Nice slacks, white blouse, simple earrings and watch...
I just think the way they said it was funny, but I love the company and I think it's going to be great fun and very hard work.
