At work here and my son and I are trying to cover freight... We called a guy named Paul that moves freight for us at least twice a week... His wife told Ryan that they were not moving any freight today..

Another one of our carriers called us to let us know that times got tough for Paul, as a truck driver and he couldnt take it anymore and he killed hisself... My son is devastated.. We just talked to him before Christmas...

There has got to be another way.. There just has to be... He left behind 5 children and his wife..I just cant believe it... Another one bites the dust...

Thanks.. My son is beside hisself.... Paul had just been complaining about our rates we were paying him.. But he ran 8 trucks and had to file a bankruptcy... we were just told by another carrier that he paid out $5000 a month to bankruptcy and his wife had just left him and one of his daughters had just gone to jail....

I guess he had more then he could take... His funeral is tomorrow.. I would put his name in here so you could send thoughts to the family but it would show up where is obituary is.. I have had that happen before...

I will be ok... It just breaks my heart. What an honest and loving man... He shall be missed... Sorry for posting it here... I just needed to vent.. Damnit...... if your thinking about it.......... please dont.... it effects more people then you will ever know..

I'm so sorry for your loss. How sad, and sad for his family. We had a man in town recently do the same thing - only 39 and left a wife and three kids. It's horrible! My heart goes out to you and you are in my thoughts.

This is so sad. I'm sorry. You're right, there has to be another way. I am sure your son is very upset. He'll need some time to get past this. Glad you have one another for support. Hugs.
