Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

I hope that your seeing Professional help for your depression, I hope that they are teaching you coping skills and ways to manage your panic attacks through breathing exercises and relaxation exercises. If not perhaps it's time to change Psychiatrists or get a Psychiatrist.
I know that it feels like there's no point and no reason to keep going....but there's always a reason. Through your life you affect people in a positive manner that you most likely don't even realize. You have family and friends that would be devastated if you weren't here anymore. And I know it's so hard to make yourself do things that seem impossible, but you have to try. Try to get up in the morning and shower, try to eat 2 or 3 small meals a day, try to get outside in the Sunshine (natural Vit. D) and take a couple of short walks each day. Try to connect with someone even if its just a friend on the computer. I get that these things can seem impossible at times, but it you set a routine for the day, and you make yourself follow that routine day by day, as hard as it can be, after a few days you'll notice its easier, then a few more days and it's easier and so on. You force yourself to do the good things for yourself that you need until it doesn't feel like your forcing it.
If your not seeing a Therapist or Psychiatrist, please do and see them for treatment.
Take care,
Kat
