hello,
i had positional vertigo for the first time in 2009. My doctor wasn't concerned, he gave me medicine to take if needed. Never had a problem again until today. I went for my first acupuncture session for a nerve condition in my foot. I have bad anxiety and was freaked out. Had them take the needles out after 20 minutes.
Right after, I went to a spa and they had me turn my face to the left to get air from a fan. When I turned my head back to normal position, the room started spinning. I laid down for a little bit, and when I tried to get up, more spinning.
they had me lie down and elevated my feet above my head,
. I stayed like that for a while, then was able to get up ok. I called the acupuncture dr. And he said it's not from the acupuncture, probably anxiety and/or vertigo. I called my family doctor and they got me an appointment first thing in the morning. I am so scared to even lay down to go to sleep, I still feel kind of off, but no room spinning.
one thing to mention, I feel dizzy sometimes, and it was worse a couple of weeks ago, so I went to the doctor. They said I had some fluid in my ears and prescribed Flonase, which did help.
any thoughts, I'm totally freaking out! Thanks!!

In your inner ear you have crystals, when these crystals move out of place they can cause dizziness and vertigo until you have them corrected. It's not a complicated procedure your PCP can do it in his office. You might want to go and get it check out.
