Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

I am entering the stages of shutting down when I see my fiancé. I cry a lot when I'm by myself, mainly because I feel bad for.my daughter. He wants to play that stupid fucking game on his phone and everything else is just a burden. Filling her sippy cup, her asking him to play, doing anything outside that game seems to be too much. He does now the lawn, help with dishes, I know there are worse cases to game addiction but its clear that we are still drifting apart. I have become so unattracted to him because of the way he treats my daughter. Says she's annoying. She's only 2 years old and wants your attention you fucking idiot. I am just growing this unbelievable anger for him lately and the tears have been constant. I dont know if talking to him will do anything but he doesnt like to talk about feelings or anything thats important in my eyes. How do I mentally survive this? I'm so mad I feel like if I try to start talking about this I will explode. He just does not seem to be bothered by this obvious cold distance between us so should I care? Should I already begin to move on with no conversations to be had? He doesn't want to talk, not to me anyways. I dont provide anything to his game, I dont hold any game secrets or precious gems he has been seeking for...so what am I?

God placed her in my path to stop me. I have been drug and alcohol free now for 53...

My husband and I got our foster license last month, after 3 years of hard work (we had to start over multiple times due to family dramas and Mom's open heart surgery). We spent a year preparing the whole house, guest rooms, and children's bathroom for older kids of 7 yr old and up. Then we got a call that we have been approved to receive twin newborn premies. What, what?!! Babies!? Premies?!...

Otherwise I would have to agree that you have to put your daughter first and decide what it best for both her and you,
