So i felt completely worthless. so i went into the bathroom and did it eight times. even now i feel worthless. i feel like im just a piece of shit for people to step on. i dont know what to do anymore.......

Are you seeing a psychologist and/or psychiatrist? Have you looked to see if there is a support group for cutters in your area? Your boyfriend sounds like a jerk, but If you're looking to your him (or any other person) for your sense of self-worth it can only take you so far. It needs to come from yourself. I know it doesn't feel this way to you, but you're still very young with your whole life ahead of you. I have a theory that teen years can be very hard for some people because they have a lot more to become once they put it all together. Please don't give up. But also please get some additional help. May God bless your day.

I believe that your boyfriend is abusive and that your life would be better without him in it. For him to say anything that would cause you to self harm is in my opinion abusive. Please don't self harm anymore. I agree with Gladdmatt that you should get some professional help from a psychologist or psychiatrist. You would probably benefit by seeing a therapist, too. Please get the help you need.

I agree with everything everyone else said. You're anything but a "piece of shit" as you call it. You're actually so strong for being willing to reach out and realize that there's something very wrong with your relationship. He does sound abusive and like he's projecting onto you. Knowing your own worth is key here, (even though seemingly impossible.) If he continually makes you feel like harming yourself perhaps stop and think of all the ways you deserve to feel in a relationship. You deserve unconditional love, healing, support, and compassion. I hope you realize this and find the help you're worthy of, soon. Sending you a hug.

Don't believe for a minute that people will despise you for cutting, especially coming from people who don't know you well enough to pass judgement. I wouldn't exactly call your boyfriend abusive, but the two of you do need to work out your differences for a better relationship. And look into medication and therapy for the depression.

From someone who does SI - I can relate to your pain...it's always hard for me to express discomfort and anger towards others but not towards self- also grew up in a culture where I couldn't express a lot...this is going to be hard...but I have to agree with the post above from Heidi ...also does he know that you do SI? it might be a big help for you both and your relationship...
