I understand what you mean. For me God is an evil being who has the power to prevent evil yet chooses not to. God knew what would happen to me when He created me and for that I can't forgive Him.

I believe that someone or something created us but that's it. There is no relationship! God doesn't care at all! I hate feeling so powerless over my life! Nothing good lasts and there is no point! I'm tired of this existence! I miss my mother and want to see her again!

Wow. If I didn't have a little bit of hope and faith left, I don't know what I would do. I hope that you all can find some peace IN life. I have thought about ending it many times, but I always end up playing my funeral out in my head and I see my son and my husband there and that always makes me remember that it's a permanent solution to a temporary problem. The ones that are the most hurt are the ones that are left behind.
I have been through my "Why would God do this to me" stage; that's what I call it. Then I realized that he didn't do this to me and I know he isn't going to give me more then I can handle. And if through my illness I can make a difference in one person's life, then I have served a purpose. It's not easy, but it helps me get through the days.

I hear what you are saying but sometimes the problem cannot be fixed. It's rare but there are people who do not respond to any form of treatment and who suffer tremendously. So, for those people, it is not a temporary problem at all. Severe mental illness is extraordinarily painful and most of all to the person living.

That said, I could not do it ... reasons are many. I would not encourage it, but I do see Euthanasia/Self-Deliverence as a solution for people in severe pain of any kind.

This is not a suggestion to anyone on this site to do this. You must rry everything ... all forms of help and, if possible, to not do this.
Most, and I repeat, most people can be helped. Maybe not totally and completely but enough.

It's a matter of semantics. You can call it self-deliverance, self-euthanization or suicide. Your choice. Alternatively, you can use the word euthanasia to mean someone acting on the behalf of another; example: a doctor euthanizing a dog.

I still have my faith. But I sure don't understand God's ways.

newpathways, I read self deliverance to mean , whatswrong19, was going to help themselves out of there problems and stop waiting for someone to rescue them and do it for them. Guess i'm just not depressed enough. or maybe it's my positive outlook I have that so many people in rl tell me I don't have because I fall into depression. they don't know sh-t.
