Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
Please, don't hurt yourself.
You are not alone! I am here if you need to talk. Just send me a message.....
If you don't like sports you don't like them. Muscles are easy to get - go to a drugstore or equivalent and checkout all the sports nutrition - high protein stuff + exercise and you'll have muscles in no time. If you really want muscles. I am not for changing myself for anyone myself. You are in crisis but if you can wait more than 12 hours...24 hours...more...and possibly talk to a psych or counsellor then you'll slowly get out of the crisis. It can get better.. hang in there, dude!
As for sports....screw them. I pulled both of my kids out after my ex left and filed for divorce and it's been one of the BEST things that came out of the divorce period.
Those joke (jock) friends probably all have head injuries, bones that ache when the weather changes and stuff that they'll live with the rest of their lives...chances are they're just jealous.
If you want muscles...pick up an active hobby. Walking, shooting hoops, biking, swimming.
Before you decide to give up, please just take a moment to think where you will be spending eternity. Are you sure that your soul will be with Jesus in heaven? Hell is much worse than the pain you suffer now.
My friend, I am not judging you. I care about you, and I want you to know that you are unique and very special!! The fact that you do not fit in with the people around you, proves that you are created to be special, one of a kind, and not just one of the crowd! You are created to stand out, above those around you!
Take a deep breath, shut everyone around you off for a while, and just think of YOU. What makes YOU happy? You don't need people's approval to be happy. Your work has filled a big part of your life. Are you happy with your job? Instead of taking the huge leap to end your life, why don't you rather take a huge leap to change your job? What will happen if you focus on doing something you love? You won't know until you've tried.
You ARE special, and you deserve to be loved and pampered! So start by accepting yourself just as you are, and prove to yourself that YOU love you! And start to be very kind and gentle to yourself, please. The fact that you hurt so deeply, proves that you are a very sensitive and caring person! People who are sensitive and caring, are the true jewels in this life, and therefore they are few and far between. Those who knew the deepest pain, become the strongest and most amasing people!!
Message me anytime you want to talk, my friend!
Loving hugs to you! xxx
I challenge you to,read the book of Job in the Old Testament today and then Psalm 27 and 28. Let me know what you think of Job's life. Praying for you
Neither they, nor I will be going to any hell. Just saying.
If you're religious...awesome. Absolutely go to your church.
But if you're not...I KNOW the pain that such words can cause. Pushed me deeper into suicidal feelings for a long, long time.
My daughter is 15. My son is almost 18. Teenagers absolutely are WONDERFUL. You guys are our future. You're the most selfLESS people on the Earth.
Not perfect...oh no. Not that. And those faults can make things feel like they'll never change and that you'll never be the person that you want to be.
But you CAN. YOU CAN. It's ALL inside of you. It will take time and it would be oh so much easier with a supportive parent.
Myself...I never had that. Hell no. Every road block and guilt trip and fault in the world...my mother threw in my path.
I'm older now. Wiser in some things, but in others...not so much. Helping my kids in the ways that I was never helped.
Take it one day at a time. If work doesn't get better, look for a better job (it's ENTIRELY possible that it's not you...that it's your boss with all of the issues.)
Heartfelt hugs, Patti
I would say (and this is where I am at)--work on getting as much help for yourself as possible. We all try to live up to these impossible standards. When we're surrounded by negative people and feel like we are failing we tend to want it all to end. So keep posting here. You will find supportive and caring people.
