Rant. I became a big sister shortly after I was born. I have a "big sister" personality. My mother used to say I had a tongue like a knife. That I should keep my two cents to myself. Keep my "nib nose" out of it. Worry about "Stefani." Well, it is true. Sometimes I just can't keep my opinions to myself. If I were queen of the world, I would change something that I think would help a lot of the problems I see. I would require every women to have a birth control device until she was at least 25, and then she'd have to petition to have children. Now, this would take an actually a civilized government, by the people, and the "people" would have to actually be intelligent as a majority. That way, we wouldn't have kids, having kids, having kids, acting like wild animals violent, stealing, killing, trash talking, lying, not contributing to society and living on welfare. I decided I need to rant more here, in a safe place, so that I can listen to my friends patiently, not put my two cents in, and keep my friends.

When you see all the horrible parents out there...it's hard not to want to try and control who gets to have children. I'm wondering 2 things right now...if you leave your kids home alone before the age of 12, you can be arrested for it...but you can let your children run the streets at age 4 and up and nothing happens...isn't home safer than running all over town?? The other thing is this...Here in PA, when you get divorced, you have to take a class for handling it with your kids...why don't we have to take a parenting class when we get pregnant??? Makes me wonder...

janus, I said it would have to be voted on by the people. Like I democracy with checks and balances. Do I need to explain it in a third way?

Hi Stefunny here is my reply in a FREINDLY voice! "a similar solution has worked so well in China hasn't it?" obviously once you turn 25 you stop being a molester, abuser, distant, unequiped and stupid. And government works so well in all countries! I can't imagine anyone exlploiting or taking advantage of this proposed system with $$$$? How about we impose religion, or no religion? I wonder if Fidel's brother is free. LOL all in good fun :)

Moll, thanks for the friendly point. Here is my counterpoint in a friendly voice as well. China became the way it is BECAUSE of overpopulation. If the U.S. were not so baby obsessed we would not be headed in the same direction.

Moll, one could argue that a person over 25 is more intelligent and financially stable than a 16 year old. I don't know what to say about the molester. I suppose if you were crazy you've always been that way or maybe not.

Also don't know what to say about the $$$$. Yes, money corrupts, its corrupted many governments. I would not be for imposing religion, if you want my personal opinion. The comment about Fidel is ridiculous, which I know was your intention. I disagree with you and think this is a serious problem and that is a solution I came up with seriously, just trying to help. I'd be more than willing to hear your ideas.
