Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
Something has come over me. I am on a mission to get healthy. My best friend has been on my case for years about getting exercise, getting on a sleep routine and taking my medications properly. You might know that I joined a gym a few weeks ago. So far, I have been working on the treadmill and doing better than I thought I would. Now I am taking my medications on a schedule and I am trying to get 8 hours of sleep. I have read so much about how important exercise and proper sleep benefits us. I had already changed my diet on January 1st. I am also finally seeing a neurologist on the 3rd per my doctor's recommendation. I'm a little mad that no one ever suggested this before. My disability attorney put me down as having memory dysfunction and my old psychiatrist diagnosed me with adult ADD. But ever since a medication screw-up, I have trouble performing at work. I lost my best job in 2012 for this reason. I didn't do real well on my last job either. I went out on disability so they didn't have a chance to fire me but that was coming. So I hope the neurologist can help me. I really need to get a part-time sit-down job or I'm going to have to sell my house. I am just so fearful of making mistakes. Talk about anxiety. I got a bad report from my orthopedic doctor on Tuesday. He took x-rays of my back. He said my back is a mess with arthritis. So now I'll have to put a lot of money out for PT. He said I have to work on strengthening my core. Good timing on the gym! I have 50 more pounds to lose. I definitely avoided the pumpkin pie yesterday! Thanks and sorry so long!

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

I hope the back problem can go away with the exercise
