We all are in pain here for what ever reason. We all suffer equally in our lives...so I propose we take a minute to think of one or two special people in our lives that have made a difference - given us that hug or made us smile or even made us forget if only for a second. A note posted here or maybe a song. It doesn't have to be about anyone on DS... it could be a brother or sister or mother?? Whoever it is !
I have 3 people I want to tribute. They have seen me at my worst and have been there for me and this is my thank you to them.

WanderingVet and ThePepperMan have been here offering support as CLs for 8 years. They are wonderful to the members of DS. I am honored to know them and call them friends.

My mom knows I'm grateful for her, and that I love her. She's fought for me my whole life, from spending thousands of dollars of treatment, to spending time getting me disability and school accommodations, to arguing with my dad that he shouldn't treat me like that. It's only because of her that my life is perfect.

There have been hundreds of other people who've helped me in some way or another, but the other person I'd like to thank is my luck, for always being there for me, and for putting me in a position to love myself as much as I love the sun.

What a great post! I would want to thank my two brothers who died from suicide who seem to guide me everyday and my grief coach Donovan Dock. You come to know your true friends and family when you are going through depressive times! Take care everyone.

my husband has been my rock .......my doctor has realy helped me ...and realy cares about his work ..he loves what he does ..helping people ....I have a loving family ...and I have all of you ..God bless

My husband has been rock too. There are several here who I dearly love and have been great to me. It's really helped me get out of bed when I want to isolate myself

I had a friend once who always made me forget my troubles, she would always think of something fun to go do and I forgot my troubles and we laughed together and did so much together. I really miss her sometimes.

These are all GREAT responses!! I don't know about any of you but for me just reading through and hearing about all these amazing people mentioned here lightens my mood.6 keep on focussing on the positive and in time with a little hope the good will dominate the bad.

I would like to thank my grandparents (Nanny & Doodle), and Aunt Frances, all have passed now. My wonderful dogs past and present (Duke & Fred) who gave/give me unconditional love. My counsellor Jen and the DS group which I recently joined.
