Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
I was texting with my best friend this morning. She struggles with addiction to food and alcohol. She was in AA but that was many years ago. I really can't give her advice because one time we were texting about my weight loss journey and I innocently said "you really have to want it" and she said F.U. five times. So when she talks about how fat she is and how she needs to go back on her diet, I don't respond. This morning, she said she really needs to go back on her diet. I said that I love Keto and that I have so much more energy. She said "I don't really want to talk about how great you are doing" and I said "sorry" and she said F.U. She is so immature. I feel bad when she is with her boyfriend because I can't text her when he's there or he'll get mad but I don't take that out on her. She isn't on the same page with me when it comes down to addressing psychological problems. She won't apologize. I should have told her that she can't talk to me that way. I certainly didn't deserve it. I said nothing.

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

Hope the dog days of summer aren't getting you down!

Be kind to yourself and have a great Friday!
She sounds very abusive toward you. Take care of YOU first. You don't have to take her talking to you in that mean way. Maybe give this a little space.
