Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
Ok, my supervisor has been asking me for months now to go with her to yoga class during lunch. so I didn't bring any clothes and when she asked me today I told her I didn't have anything to wear. she said she had some clean clothes I could borrow, I asked her if she thought they would fit me and she went ballistic and started yelling at me and telling me "OH MY GOD.... I"M NOT THAT FAT!" and just went on and on and scared the hell out of me to be honest. she is about 60 pounds heavier than me, and about 4 inches or more shorter than I am. WTH? I mean she was yelling at me, in front of another worker, who is also overweight, so I'm just like what the hell? So I'm just in my office now with my door shut, and she's trying to pretend like she's not mad, but she really is and I'm pretty sure she's talking shit about me behind my back. what a psycho.

I invited Bill to have dinner with me last Sunday. He wasn't willing to drive 7 hours to mid Michigan and teased me with his beautiful ribs!!! So, of course I ate alone and had cedar salmon

One apology today can save a ton of misery tomorrow. give her a hug. Tell her she's beautiful and wear her effing clothes and get yourself to that yoga.
lol. Now you know how men feel every day.... :D :D :D
I guess I am divided about what you should do so you could probably go the route that Pepperman suggested and report it; or you could do what bridgie suggests and apologize for upsetting her and see if she gets over it before she does too much more damage. Hmmmm,,,,, guess I am leaning more towards bridgies suggestion. Office politics, being what it is can sometimes come back and bite you in the rear. If your supervisor is in tight with HR then it could make things worse for you. It shouldn't be that way, but sometimes it is. So, yeah.....you might want to suit up for that yoga class.
