Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

I'm not sure to post this, going to post in a few groups.
So, last Friday I was at the dr's, They took my weigh, I weighed 180 (I would think I'm getting older I should be gaining not loosing) And I am not doing anything different. Last Year about this time I was 210, and last night had two survings of ham and scaloped potatos, So, I am not loosing appetite.
I could have some cheese burger slider's at 12-12:30 and be hungry 2-3 hrs later.
Just googled med's I take for a inlarged prostate, and post-nazel-drip, and that's not causing it.
And also googled, weight loss but still have full appetite, Came up hyper thyroid and cancer.
I have been having alot of anxiety lately......I don't know.

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

Maybe start a food diary right now. So you can keep track of everything you're eating.
If you can possibly think back to what were you eating before the 210 lbs weight, and what are you eating since then, I am sure you will see some changes. They can be subtle changes in eating, but it adds up over time. Maybe you hardly ate one day. Maybe you cut back your calories by eating a different food since one year ago. Maybe you stopped eating ice cream or some other fattening food. Try to think back if you have made any dietary changes. Smaller portions? Less meals? Less fast food? Etc.
You might realize that you actually have been doing something different.
For example, I was eating frozen yogurt a few years ago. It's frozen yogurt, how fattening could it be? It said Non-Fat. Well, couple months later, I had gained 10 pounds. I stopped eating it. Eventually lost the 10 pounds. So it can even be something simple like this, that you used to eat it and in the last year you stopped eating it.
You can always ask your doctor to run more tests, but like you said, he wasn't concerned, so I think this is all actually a good thing. I wouldn't worry about it. Good that you checked with your doctor though.
