Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

So as I mentioned earlier I got the temp job and it's not working out. A week into onboarding I was put on a PIP. Yeah. So my real feeling on it is that it is not worth it and that I should just get another job. It is tough to find a full-fledged professional job. In the meanwhile, I put out several applications for survival-type jobs yesterday. I got a callback from Kelly services to work in a warehouse assembling parts. It would pay significantly less than what I am making now, like six dollars an hour less, and I would have to get up in the middle of the night and drive across town an hour to the factory. Not terribly appealing however it seems like everyday they are telling me it could be my last day and I don't like this. Any suggestions? Really I think once you are threatened with termination and put on a PIP it is time to go. I can't believe this has happened even in the onboarding and training.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

What does PIP mean?
Since you asked for suggestions... I would just wait until Kelly has a temp job that you DO like. The warehouse one does not seem to be a good choice, in my opinion.
Employment agencies get new jobs, literally every day. Are there other agencies you could also sign up for? That way, you'd have more job choices.
Also, look into remote, online work... which as you probably know, has been really growing over the past years.
You don't have to run out and take *any* old job. No need to panic. Keep working this job while actively looking for a different temp job. I am confident you will find something better and probably real soon!!
Good luck!!
Unless someone else is paying the bills for right now I'd hang in and keep looking
Ask the agencies if there are office jobs if you'd perfer that to more manual labour
You may do wonderfully with the students and end up liking it...
I don't know what PIP is either?...xo
