Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

Hey everybody. I hope you're all doing well. I've been doing well since I got discharged from the psychiatric hospital, I've only been struggling with a handful of things. One of them being, I don't know how to tell my boyfriend that I was having suicidal ideations and that's the reason they admitted me. The symptom is no longer there, but he's a worrier and I just don't want that. If something happens, I don't want his mind to go there and think that I'm going to do it or that I'm thinking about it. I don't want to hide it from him. Any advice would help.

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...

Hope this helps
God Bless
I think if he asks you point blank, tell him. But if he doesn't ask, then you don't have to race out there and educate him. You're allowed privacy in a relationship.
So you don't have a moral obligation to bring him along, blow by blow, with all of the emotional events of your life. Tell him if you think he's going to need to know going forward. Or if you yourself need to express it. But if you don't feel any urge to express it, then don't.
Talk about things that interest you instead.
