Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
Here I am again. The stress of my situation is building up again and just wiping me out. i feel like dynamite is exploding inside me and all i can do is just sit here. how can your own family turn on you and destroy you and just take pleasure in it. how do I live through this. why can't i find one healthy effin person in real life to be there for me.
i'm so tired and sick. it's not even that so much as my family either ignoring me or taking happiness from it. still no place for mom. if you only knew how intense my day to day life is, how smothering and toxic. and yet from the outside, if you saw me on the street, i might look dishevelled or unhappy but you'd never know how horrible things really are. I'm literally screaming for help and no answer. no help. i asked my family, therapists, doctors, they've all let me down. coming here, i am not let down but i'm finding it not enough for me. i need a good friend or at least a good therapist so bad.
i'm trying to strategize getting through one day at a time, but even that strategy that usually works ok, is falling apart
i think being ignored espeically when you are desperate for help and kindness and connection is one of the cruelest things there is.
