Well, Second Life is a virtual community, and you can pick your avatars, and you can choose to be male or female. Well, a lot of males choose female avatars and pretend to be females...

It's kinda complicated.

Lost I am now...soooo lost....I get to be a male or female and I choose a furry canine with an underbite.... I would not choose a male...BUT to each his or her own ey???

I am sad to say this but I was just like your wife before w/ the 20 questions and being noisey when he wass on line or on the phone( bad relationships b4 my husband made me scared and not trusting).... what my husband did to help me was to reassure me that he loves me and nothing or no one on line or anyone could change that fact.
That reassured me and made me feel so much better and now I am happy to say I give him his privacy just like he does to me.

Yeah, second life has been on CSI. Beware, though. It can be even more dramatic and more addictive then this place. :)

alphonsus....my hubby and i had a chat about this too....he was afraid of what i was doing and who i was talking to....but as time went on he realised that i was getting support from people who know what this disease is and have had the same experiences as me....[he does not suffer from major depression] now he leaves me alone ..... even in a marriage you need to have things that are personal and private in my opinion....you cant know every little thing eachother is doing, thinking or feeling......as bella says i try to stay off ds when hes around unless hes just sitting there watching tv.....i dont know how long you have been here but maybe you wife just needs some reassurance that your not on line talking to some women that your thinking of leaving her for....perhaps she just needs time to realise that your talking and thats it.....talking.....and trying to help people.....
