I have had a tradition with my husband and another couple every NYE for nine years. This time I can't as I am divorcing him. I don't know what to do. Think I'll be in a shelter at that time. Whatever the other chics are doing I guess lol

I never stay up late anyway, I figure the new year will be there when I wake up.

It's going to be just me and Anny so I will be on DS if anyone needs to talk. I hate to see anyone feeling lonely. I hate New Years because that is when I find out how little amount of money I made, how little I'm going to make, and what is going to be taken away from me. I WILL be here on New Years Eve if anyone needs to talk. Hugs

Aw, TC, I am sorry you feel so alone. But not everyone has someone else to celebrate with. Looks like gramybear will be here for people so that's nice of her to offer to have someone to talk to. She's a real sweetheart, so you might want to take her up on her offer. :)

You are not the only one TC40. It will be just me, myself, and I on new year's eve. Actually, that is the way I prefer it. I don't have the energy for anyone else these days.

TC, I know it. I am married, but it doesnt mean I wont spend it alone..if thats any consolation.

I'll be around as well for anyone who wants to chat... this time last year i was unexpectedly pregnant and i miscarried on new years... having a history of alcohol abuse, drinking & partying is a very bad idea for me as i've been fighting depression regarding the miscarriage..and it doesnt help most of my friends are pregnant, just had babies or have young kids.. it's kind of a constant reminder.... my new gf lives pretty far away and all she wants to do is party this year...she was supposed to come out and spend new years with me to keep me company and try to keep me happy, but i told her to stay home because im not up for partying and i dont want to hold her back.... trust me, i'm with you on this new years sucks thing...

I too will be alone. This will be the first year, as my boyfriend left me. So while he is out with his home wrecker...I'll be stuck at home with my pup. I'll be up to chat that night as well!

I have never cared for New Year's Eve. I am afraid to go anywhere due to the amount of drunk drivers out there that night. I usually go to bed as someone else mention. The New Year will be here when I wake up. I do make my black eyed peas and collard greens for New Year day. Oh, and cornbread too. If I can't find the collards here I guess I will cook cabbage. As long as it is something green. (collards are hard to find here).

One good thing about the New Year, it is tax time for those who get a refund. Yeah!

I hate that everyone has someone to kiss at midnight and i am always alone, and as much as i wish that next year will be different, it never is... my 24th year alone lol

In the previous years i stayed home alone, eating, watching tv or even went to bed way before midnight.. This year I will be alone as well, probably need pills to get me sleeping early..

This really breaks my heart reading all that doesn't have anyone they get no kissess or Hugssss (i don't either)))) but i try to do the best i can to not let it get to me sometimes i have been down with my health i unusally record a channel & watch another one just another day for me but i do have to give thanks for me still being here as the first part of Jan it will be 11 years for my 2nd cancer surgery & at the end of Jan it will be 8 years i lost my right kidney, it has already been 17 years for my very first 10 & 1/2 hour long surgery on Nov 17 th & I'm very blessed to still be here to give support as this means so much to me as i never had any when i first found out i had cancer so i will be here for anyone that needs a good ear to listen to... You can never give enough HUGS so im sending tight HUGS all around to all that need them..
