Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
Well.... I'm 27... I've been suffering from depression... Anxiety for a very long time now.. Just seems to get worse as years go by... My stress has now become a multitude of migranes that never go away... I'm on my 4th child right now... And things are taking a turn for the worst. I don't really even want to be pregnant... But these are the cards have been dealt... It's hard for me to cope.... Everything seems to weigh a thousand pounds and I'm only one person... My family... Doesn't see what I'm going thru.... To them.... I'm a drama queen... Cry baby... "Always sick" I've come to a point where I feel like NOTHING will ever change and I'm stuck being this person.... I'm stuck not feeling complete.... Not feeling accepted or understood... By not even myself.. .. It's a terrible feeling...I just can't shake it... It consumes me every single day. . I'm tired of fighting an endless war with not only everyone else... But also myself....I just want to lay down and let it all go... But it's not that easy.... It never is and never will be.... This is what my life is supposed to be.... We can't always be winners.... There always has to be a loser to weigh things out... Make the world "fair"..... I'm just one of the many unlucky ones......

with the kids? A teenager, another mother? Try journaling you might be able to
figure something out that way.

You are going through a bad time. I had my back and neck out when I had children, so badly I could barely bend over to pick things off the floor. My entire family had me down as a drama queen. Lovely people.
For three years I continued until I realised my entire life would be wasted to this thing. I was in pain? sure. Great. But I still wanted a garden, I still needed dishes done and floors swept. I had to change something inside myself and say "okay great, I just get to carry on in this level of pain." I painted the house, I did the lot, in agony. I stopped favouring the pain. I refused to limp, for instance. I would hold my breath, grit my teeth and just bend over. I admit I looked bizarre vacuuming, as I would hold the rod a bit like a croquet mallet..
I did what I could to keep going and I tried to tune out the very loud noise of my back.
And the strange thing is that when I did this? The cure came. There is a good reason to believe in the universe, or karma, or something because when I fully accepted my fate, my fate CHANGED. The lesson it was throwing at me was now learned and it all shifted.
I ended up discovering chiropractic (and I seriously think you need to go for the migraines) and it turned out I had a whiplash injury in my neck causing the migraines, and scoliosis causing the sciatica. With chiropractic care I am able to do anything I like, including heavy digging.
Getting out from under the constant pain was absolutely amazing. I can't tell you how amazing and how much it shifts the point of view.
You need to now start to try everything. Chiropractic, physiotherapy, osteopaths, you name it. migraines are not okay.
