Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

As for Journaling, the idea of Journaling is not to "shrink" yourself, it's not to ask yourself the right questions. The purpose of Journaling is to get all of the crap out of your head, all of the emotion, pain, bad thoughts, fear, anxiety, etc. To put all that down on paper in whatever form you wish so that your head is free from it, so you aren't constantly being weighed down by it and it's not constantly lending creed to your depression. When you get all the crap out of your head then you create space to do things like Relaxation Therapy where you find or create positive memories or thoughts to go to in your mind. Journaling doesn't have to be in any perfect, creative format, it can just be dumping words on paper. Your Journal is your private thoughts on paper, you're the only one who'll read it, so don't worry about it being, right or proper.....there's not a right way to do it.
